Future Leaders International Private School
Technology, Health & Safety Policy
The effective and efficient implementation of the Technology, Health & Safety Policy is the responsibility of all concerned stakeholders at our school: the board of trustees, the senior and middle management, academic and admin staff, volunteers, and even the students themselves.
This policy details the rules set to protect children and others who use the school’s ICT services, such as, but not limited to, the internet, cell phones, applications, and laptops and tablets.
The Policy’s Rationale
Our School considers that:
- Every student has the right to a fair and just protection from any harm or danger regardless of age, gender, religion, culture, and/or physical abilities.
- It is crucial that parents/guardians work closely with the School to protect the children and provide them with an ICT safe environment.
- In today’s world, an important factor in safeguarding the well-being of students is the way the school governs the approach to the use of technology and the management of electronic communication technologies.
The Policy’s Implementation
Nowadays, information technology plays an important role in our lives. It helps us find, gather, and organize information. It also plays a crucial role in communication. However, if children, or even adults, use it in a wrong way, it can lead to serious problems and can even be harmful.
