Admission Procedure

Our experienced and dedicated team is always here to provide any support you may need in order to ensure that your child’s admission application meets ADEK’s documentation requirements.

We aspire to accept all applicants; however, the school reserves the right to refuse admission of any student based on:

  • The availability of seats at the time of the submission of the admission application.
  • Any other applicable non-academic issue, such as missing documents.

To register your child at our school, please follow the steps below:

  • The applicant, accompanied by his/her parent(s) or guardian(s), will then be given the next available appointment to attend an interview and assessment led by a member of our academic team. The aim of the interview and assessments are to learn about their character, set of skills, and their academic ability in English, Arabic and Math. In addition to grade-level specific information, these assessments gauge higher-order skills such as, but not limited to: writing skills, critical thinking and problem solving. The results from the assessments will help us establish the foundation of the personalized education portfolio for our future students.
  • Upon completion of the previous two steps, the applicant will be scheduled to sit for aptitude tests in English, Arabic and Mathematics. In addition to grade-level specific information, these tests assess higher-order skills such as, but not limited to: writing skills, critical thinking and problem solving. These tests help us establish the foundation of the personalized education portfolio for our future students to be able to meet all their special academic needs, if any on the long run.
  • Parents will be informed of the results of these assessments and admission within 2-3 business days of the test date via e-mail. In addition, the principal and/or the respective section head will further interview the applicant and their parent(s) or guardian(s) to ensure that they understand the ethos of the school’s mission and vision, and that they have the readiness and mindset to engage in this learning process, while emphasizing that the school aims to nurture within its students the 21st century learner and leader skills that are essential to mould their knowledge for a successful future and lifelong learning process.
