That Fuels The Future
Dear Parents,
It is with great pride and pleasure that I Introduce myself as the principal of Future Leaders International Private School – Branch 2 in Abu Dhabi, one of the growing pillars of Future Leaders International Private Schools.
I will put to the best use of my 42 years of experience as a principal and an educator (34 years in Abu Dhabi and 8 Years in Lebanon) to make sure that our Future Leaders are well-equipped to face the challenges of contemporary times and ready to face and lead the 21st century encounters and changes.
I founded and established 2 major schools in the UAE: Al Dhafra Private School in Al Ain, which I had the honor to be one of its pillars and its principal for 28 years (1987-2015), and from 2015 to 2019, Sharjah American International School – Abu Dhabi Campus, where I was the founder-principal for 4 years, during which I had worked closely with parents, staff and students to keep the school a safe learning community of the highest academic level.
Future Leaders International Private School follows Virginia State Standards of Learning, reinforced by the NGSS and the MOE National Curriculum which promote creativity, innovation, leadership and UAE National Identity with great emphasis on differentiation, inclusion and the use of technology in school premises.
Currently, we are serving students from KG1 to Grade 9 with the plan to expand up to 10th Grade next year. At our school, we encourage and support pupils to be confident and creative learners, and we enrich their self-esteem. We also provide students with a stimulating curriculum within a healthy and safe environment.
As the principal of this school, I would like to assure you that we will continuously strive to ensure that each and every one of our students receives the best possible education, in keeping with ADEK regulations and our school’s mission and vision.
Believing that parent-school mutual partnership is a crucial layer in education, we follow an open-door policy that encourages constant communication with parents and helps us to learn more about our students’ needs to enable us to prepare them to face 21st century challenges.
Nelson Mandela famously said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. These words perfectly sum up the importance of education. As parents, you play an integral part in our students’ education, and, accordingly, I strongly encourage you to take an active role in all aspects of the school’s affairs.
A school community consisting of parents, staff and pupils is what makes a school successful. If we all work together as a team, I am confident that our school would become an environment which stimulates pupils and allows them to develop and think independently for the purpose of turning them into effective decision-making future leaders.
